Hi. I've been a K-12 teacher for 38 years, with most of it in elementary and middle school. I am a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing as well and have worked with special needs students. I have tutored of and on throughout my years of teaching. I love working with students to help them get to that moment of understanding.

I am an entrepreneur who is a lifelong learner. I teach myself new things in vast fields of study constantly. I obtained a Bachelors of Innovation at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in Game Design and Development in December of 2022. I am a very patient and understanding gentleman who is sort of a jack of all trades. I may not have a degree in psychology but I know how the brain learns and retains information. I may not be a therapist but I know how to talk and interact with people to figure out what the root of their problems are. I have always been gifted in mathematics and have an aptitude for learning complex systems and ideas

I will work with the person that needs help until everything makes sense and there are no questions and they can confidently answer similar questions in the future. I am also smi-fluent in ASL so i can work with deaf clients as needed. I love math! I am an Applied Mathematics Major at UCCS and I truly enjoy math and helping other people.

I have earned As in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Mulitvariable Calculus, and earned a 750 on the math section of the SAT. In addition, I have spent most of my high school and college years assisting my peers with math. As a result, I have developed the skills necessary to both understand and effectively communicate concepts to students. I love seeing the joy that fills a student's face after hours of hard work pays off with a good test score or that "aha" moment. It is what drives me to be of assistance!...

I have been teaching for over 18 yrs. I am certified in Colorado with endorsements in elementary education, special education and general science. I enjoy teaching all subjects and most experienced in literacy but love to teach math and science. I also have a love for history.
