Graduate From Ohio state, worked in education before transitioning into the corporate world. Studied ASL for 8 years and worked with Deaf families throughout my adult career. It has been a long standing passion of mine and I am a former board member of Ohio States Deaf-HH club where I was a tutor for College students attending ASL classes.

I am very fluent and competent in ASL. I retired after 39 years of full-time professor of ASL at San Diego Mesa College. I have taught ASL 1 to ASL 4, ASL Fingerspelled Signs, Deaf Culture and Implications of Deafness courses. Currently I teach Deaf Culture as an online course at San Diego Mesa College. I received my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from University of Southern California (USC) in 2004.
